WAVE is a school-based program open to all school-age children from 3rd grade, both in the public and private schools. It was established on Guam in1988. The purpose of the program is to promote the importance of tourism in Guam. Today, we teach our youth the importance of “sense of place” and what makes Guam a unique destination. We also take pride in our island by keeping it clean with several beautification projects. We believe that if it is good for the community, it will be good for tourism.

W.A.V.E. stands for Welcome All Visitors Enthusiastically!

Our Vision is for our young generation and future generations to develop a deep care for Guam, our island home, with a profound awareness of the positive impact of the tourism industry in our community.
